Head Coach

Conor McLaughlin

Born in Belfast, Northern Ireland, Conor launched his career in England with Preston North End before spells at Fleetwood Town, Millwall and Sunderland, making over 350 appearances. He proudly represented Northern Ireland over 40 times also making an appearance at Euro 2016. Playing with top players and against some of the worlds best including, Pirlo, Toni Kroos, Erling Haaland and Robert Lewandowski, led Conors passion to pass on those experiences to the next generation.

“12 years in the game taught me lessons no YouTube video or book ever could- about discipline, mindset, adapting under pressure, and constantly raising your game.I’ve played with and against some of the best players in the world and know what it takes to get to that level.

Now after being forced to retire early through injury, Conor is currently a Talent I.D scout with City Football Group and Academy development coach at NYCFC.

Made over 350 club appearances + 43 International Caps for Northern Ireland over a 12 year professional career.

Received UEFA B Coaching License in 2024. Currently working towards UEFA A badge.

Ryan McLaughlin

Coach

Ryan brings a wealth of professional experience from the highest levels of the game. Having come through the academy system at Liverpool FC, he developed in one of the most elite football environments in the world, learning the standards, discipline, and technical excellence required to perform at the top level.

Throughout his professional career, Ryan has competed across the UK and internationally, gaining invaluable experience in high-performance environments. He currently plays professionally with Brooklyn FC, continuing to perform at a high level while bringing his knowledge and passion for the game into coaching..

Ryan is passionate about helping young players develop both technically and mentally. His sessions focus on modern game demands, positional understanding, and the small details that separate good players from great ones. Having experienced professional football firsthand, he offers players a unique insight into what it truly takes to progress through the pathway.
